Thank you for visiting Feral Creations. I have a lot of fun making these pieces, and I hope you will enjoy them too!
Feral tiles are handmade high-fired ceramic clay, with clear glaze on the tile face and melted clear glass surrounding the image. Each tile has unique aspects, so although each are part of a series, they are also one of a kind.
Dimensions listed are approximate, as they are a tad bit irregular (they’re feral ;-)!) So please don’t cut surrounding tiles in your home projects until you have the Feral tiles in hand to ensure a great fit!
The clay color fluctuates a bit as it reacts to the kiln — although I’d call it bone colored, sometimes the hew may have a bit of a white, grey, or ocher cast. Knowing that all computer screens are different the hew you see only approximates the tiles', so please note this before ordering, because unfortunately returns are only possible when tiles are damaged in the mail, not because of color. (Sorry!) If you would like to special order tiles, then it is possible to aim for a specific hew; for instance, porcelain clay will give you a whiter clay body, and #55 clay tends to have a grayer tone.
For special orders, please give me 4 to 8 weeks, although I’ll try my best to get orders to you as soon as possible! Tiles can be ordered on the form below. Please check back regularly for the latest designs!
The available Feral Platesare shown above. The sets are one of a kind.
If you would like to purchase tiles or plates, please scroll over the image and its title and cost will pop up, then you can fill out the below form. When I receive the form I'll confirm it is still available, or if it would be a special order, and then we can make arrangements. (The pop-up information is only visible on computer screens, not cell phones, so please check your computers for these details.)
By the way, I enjoy making special plate orders, so let me know what you are thinking, and we can explore what's possible. Just know it can may a couple months to create and fire.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions or thoughts — I look forward to hearing from you!
